El Maguey Reviews
Love coming here because it's so close to home. Came in for a quick bite after church. I ordered the number 29 which was a Chicken Quesadilla and Chile Relleno with rice. This is one of my go to orders here it is always good and hits the spot. Their chips and salsa is usually pretty good as well. The Chile Relleno packed with cheese and delicious sauce on top. The chicken quesadilla has nice tender white meat chicken inside with gooey cheese. My husband's go to is the Burrito Bandera. If you cannot decide which type of burrito you want, order this one it has a little bit of everything. Service is always wonderful here. They really work hard to get you served quickly.
One of my favorites! I've been going here since I was a kid, so it always brings back good memories for me. This was my first time getting the pollo a la parillia and it was delicious! I would definitely order again. Plenty of food for leftovers. The service was fantastic, they were quick to refill chips and drinks
Mexican night out is a weekly event in our household, and El Maguey - any location is certain to fill you appetite with delicious south of the border specialties. We normally split a regular order of chicken fajitas - with an extra order of tortillas. This is WAY more food than two people can reasonably eat. You will be greeted instantly with chips and salsa - and great service.
My husband and I came here last Sunday for a quick snack. We got the two steak quesadillas and then had chips & salsa. The steak quesadillas were delicious and very affordable. Our service was attentive. Our server was new but quickly got answers to any questions we had if she didn't know the answer. We were seated immediately on a Sunday night around dinner time. It is a pretty small space but wasn't very crowded. Overall, a great, affordable spot to fill your Mexican food craving.
Here's the thing with Mexican restaurants nowadays. Every one on this great green planet is doing less and less meat, cheese, and tequila. Saving money or something like that. Let me tell ya, El Maguey... going AGAINST the current. They're doing MORE meat. MORE tequila. MORE cheese. And the service is fast as can be. Whether you want a 2 hour dinner with the in laws, or a quick thirty minute lunch break, this is the place to go. MORE! MORE! MORE! This establishment will have you feeling better than if your team won the Super Bowl, baby! #yelped
